Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf
As a Marriott Bonvoy elite member we were upgraded to an executive suite – which are quite large even for Dubai standards. Upon first entering the suite you are greeted by a large living room and a guest washroom to your left.
The living room opens up to the bedroom via sliding doors and provides a comfortable lounge area.
There are water and coffee machines with Illy coffee which are a nice standard amenity. During Covid the hotel also provides wet wipes for additional sanitization if required.
The desk has all traditional amenities such as pen and paper removed as well there are chargers and sockets for your laptop or devices to connect to. The furniture and desk have started to show signs of age.
Upon entering the bedroom you have a large bathroom to your left and further down a very generous walk in closet area with vanity mirror and powder set up.
The bathroom features a shower and separate bathtub set on wooden panels for a spa like feeling – in the background you can see the closet from behind the glass.
The amenities for bathroom are from Acca Kappa.
The view from the bedroom looking into the living room – the suite overall is very spacious and has everything you need. There is also access to the executive lounge for elite members which during Covid is restricted to happy hour for drinks and light snacks with breakfast offered in the main restaurant on the lobby floor.
The pool offers views over Dubai as well as the new Dubai Frame as well a gym on the floor below.
